In response to the climate change emergency to carry out energy transition and net-zero carbon technologies and business, decision-makers and managers require better practices for risk management, data analytics, and quantitative methods to make better-informed decisions.

CATCH UK has signed a partnership with the International Institute of Professional Education and Research to bring to the UK, and especially to the Humber Region, professional qualifications, technologies, and advanced analytics to enhance teaching, learning, and professional development in the engineering industry.

This CATCH-IIPER partnership has been endorsed and sponsored by OSL Risk Management, OSL Consulting Engineering, and Real Options Valuation. We developed an online platform, “OSL Analytics Academy”, to enhance both online and on-site training programs in risk management, data analytics, and quantitative methods for multidisciplinary professionals. Note that all the technologies to be used during our training programs in partnership with IIPER and OSL Analytics Academy are already integrated into more than 300 universities worldwide, many multinational organisations as well.

The first professional training program in “Risk Quantification and Business Simulations” is already available for our members, supporters, and the general public. Therefore, more training programs are coming soon; for example, Project Risk Management, Decommissioning Risk, Project Economic Analysis, Company Valuations, Risk in Plant Operation, Operational Risk, and so on). Our vision with all these important allies is supporting both individuals and companies with the Humber’s industrial strategy, where professional skills and development need to be aligned with investments and growth opportunities.
