We benchmark our salaries against similar public and not for profit organisations, to ensure we remain competitive to attract great people and retain our staff. We reward performance and offer an annual pay review alongside a discretionary bonus scheme.
Saving for retirement is important, we offer a salary sacrifice scheme to help make contributions tax efficient. We will match contributions up to 7%. That means if you contribute 7%, CATCH will contribute 7%. We regularly review our company scheme with our providers to ensure it continues to perform well for our employees.
- Annual leave
Time off work is important, that’s why we offer a generous 20-25 days per annum pro rata plus statutory holidays. In addition, and to recognise long service, when you have completed one full year’s service you will receive an extra allowance of one day each year up to a maximum of 30 days.
- Sick Pay –
If you become unwell, certain contracts include 2 weeks pay in the first year of service. For employees with service greater than 12 months, and in line with industry standards, you will be entitled to receive sick pay for 4 weeks and after 5 years’ service this will be increased to a maximum of 6 weeks in any 12 month rolling period at your normal basic pay.
We offer employee training as identified in our performance reviews, alongside continuous professional development in line with your role and progression plans.
CATCH offers a business health care package for certain contracts. Full details of any benefit and cover provided will be made available during your induction. Cover includes, for example, hospital charges and consultant’s/specialists’ fees for in-patient and day-patient treatment, out-patient scans, cancer treatment, private ambulance and oral surgery etc.
Staff may add their spouse/partner to the PMI scheme – this entitles the employees spouse/partner to the same health benefits as yourself, and the premium will be deducted from your salary, the cost spread over 12 monthly payments.
In addition, CATCH offers a cash plan scheme called Healthshield. Full details of the scheme benefits will be provided, again it is possible for staff to buy into the scheme for their spouse/partner to benefit.
Employees are eligible to join the schemes on completion of 6 months’ service.
If you have to work away from home, we understand that could be disruptive to your work life balance, therefore we pay travel the usual mileage, sustenance plus a special overnight fee on income generating trips.
- Uniform /PPE
We offer all staff workwear such as jackets/fleeces, work trousers and polos if applicable, plus we also provide staff with all equipment they need to do their job along with CATCH Accessories such as a CATCH Mug, Water Bottle and coaster
We offer comprehensive parental leave packages, supporting you when you need it most! Including –
We offer three months full pay, three months at half pay, and reminder of your leave at statutory pay. We also offer keeping in touch days and will try our best to welcome you back to work in a way that works for you.
We offer full pay for two weeks to help you to welcome your new arrival into the world.
- Performance reviews
Each year all employees participate in an annual and 6 monthly appraisals. This provides a frame work to check progress against objectives, consider training and development needs and enables employees and managers to give constructive feedback. We also have regular individual and team catch ups.
- Annual survey
Our employee survey is used to make improvements to the business for our employees. We carefully consider all opinions and make changes when viable. We review the feedback with the team and create a ‘you said, we did’ charter

We love to recognise people for their outstanding achievements. As well as the recognition, we include a certificate and vouchers.
