Sponsor the next generation

CATCH Skills are looking for sponsorship to run a number of introduction to industry programmes starting in October 2020. The first one being 29-30th October. The programme is 2 days long and gives the learner the opportunity to gain some hands on industry experience at the CATCH plant and workshop facilities. Targeted at 14-18 year olds, our trainers from industry will give them an insight into the variety of STEM based career options that learning at CATCH can offer. The practical elements of the course include basic mechanical and process operations, working at heights and slinging and lifting. Many students have progressed from this programme through to apprenticeships on site and then to a career in industry.

We have been running this programmes since 2015 which is normally funded through donations from the CATCH Annual Dinner raffle however with the postponement of the dinner this year, we are looking for a number of sponsors from industry which will enable us to run as many Introduction to Industry programmes as possible.

Sponsorship is £500 and includes;

Branding of the programme in all social media activity and certificates for the students
Opportunity to have a 30 minute slot to discuss your company and role within industry
Handing out of certificates to learners

If you would like to sponsor the programme please contact jess.bocock@catchuk.org
