Welding and Pipefitting Hub

Closing the gap – Training highly skilled craftspeople for a Low Carbon Future

CATCH will be expanding our apprenticeship provision in 2023 with the introduction of premium welding and pipefitting pathways to complement our offer in process operations, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation standards.

And we would like to invite you to be an integral part of it.

The CATCH Welding & Pipefitting Hub is an employer led project to ensure that our region has the right level of skills to meet the demand not only for existing projects in the process industry sector but to enable the UK to deliver the mega-scale engineering construction projects that industrial decarbonisation of our industry requires.

Through sponsorship, we invite members and key stakeholders to support this step change in our delivery. Contributions are invited from partners to support the refit of our original workshop which was opened in 2006. Expanding our apprenticeship provision builds on existing regional capacity in these important trades.
