I started my career as an apprentice carpenter and joiner, after completing my apprenticeship I remained in this trade for 10 years, I then joined the Ambulance service dealing with many different A & E situations, I stayed in this career for nearly 20 years.

During the last two years in the service, I started to teach first aid and health & safety on a part time basis at Grimsby Institute, I then had the opportunity to join on a full time basis and gained my teaching degree, progressing to centre manager.

Seven years ago I took up the role of senior technician at Catch, this is a very varied and different role, as no two days are the same and brings its own demands and frustrations.
