Chris has been employed by CATCH since August 2021 as a trainer & assessor within the engineering short course and process apprenticeship areas. He brings 30 years’ experience in Chemical, Petrochemical & Oil Refinery maintenance and production, including 20 years of supervision roles, giving wide-ranging sector engineering knowledge and experience. He is experienced on international energy companies’ plants-terminal – Philips 66, Conoco, Total, Associated British Ports (ABP).
From that period, he has a related experience of parallel On-the-Job-Training (OJT) of process operators, engineering staff and apprentices, on new and existing equipment. He since has undertaken 6 years’ training company/college delivery work, in addition to his prior in-industry OJT experience. He has overseas training experience in Malaysia (Petrofac/Petronas) and Iraq (Lukoil/Antonoil and ExxonMobil/TPL). Chris is experienced in internal quality assurance of assessments, holding SQA Internal Verifier and D32/33 Assessor qualifications.
