Joining the CATCH team as a Project Manager, Lisa was instrumental in the mobilisation of CATCH Apprenticeships working with a variety of awarding and regulatory bodies. Now as Apprenticeship Delivery Manager she is responsible for all apprenticeship and academic programmes and the apprenticeship delivery teams across both CATCH sites.
Lisa is a Chemical Engineer, having spent 25 years in the Chemicals and Energy industries, primarily as a Commercial and Contracts Manager. In the last 8 years she has applied her industrial knowledge to training and education, in particular for modern apprenticeships and Higher Nationals, having delivered and assessed on both Mechanical and Electrical & Electronic Engineering programmes.
Lisa’s primary aim is for CATCH Apprenticeships to deliver Quality by raising the bar on apprenticeship delivery through close collaboration with employers, apprentices and her talented delivery team. She is embracing the opportunities afforded by innovation and technology to deliver a World Class Apprenticeship Service to Employers and Apprentices. As an L&D professional she also takes an holistic approach to programme design, introducing both personal development modules and added value courses to deliver apprenticeship training that is tailored to the learner.
Lisa has lived in the region for 30 years and has worked with both blue-chips and SMEs nationally, having significant experience in Yorkshire and the Humber. In her spare time, as a qualified teacher Lisa runs an online HNC/D Engineering Maths hub. She is also working towards chartered status with the CIPD.
